Palm Beach Marine Fuel at the Palm Beach International Boat Show

Our partners at the Port of Palm Beach visited us at the 2021 Palm Beach International Boat Show and shot this great video. Palm Beach Marine Fuel’s General Manager of Operations, Alex Arruza, shares how boat owners from Indian River County down to Monroe County can benefit from direct fueling to your location as well as additional services, such as fuel polishing and fuel removal.

Arruza also mentions ways the company is giving back to the community such as its sponsorship of the upcoming Place of Hope KDW Fishing Tournament taking place June 4 and 5, 2021 out of the Sailfish Marina. Palm Beach Marine Fuel has pledged to donate .15 cents of every gallon sold during the tournament to the Place of Hope, or to any registered boat that fuels up between now and the dates of the tournament-mention you are fishing in the Fish for Hope tournament. For more or to register for the tournament visit Fish for Hope.  Or contact Jaydi Ramirez at 561-775-7195, ext 54 or jaydir@placeofhope.com.

More Kudos For Palm Beach Marine Fuel

“The service is easy, convenient, and seamless, and you save a lot of money as compared to filling up on the water,” says long-time North Palm Beach resident Jason Doyle describes fueling services from Palm Beach Marine Fuel. “Their team is always responsive,” he says.

Customer Jason Doyle describes Palm Beach Marine Fuel services as “easy, convenient, and seamless, and you save a lot of money as compared to filling up on the water.”

“When I get back to the dock after a trip, I just shoot them a text and don’t even have to call anybody. My fuel tech, Eddie, knows what he’s doing. I don’t have to be there when he’s fueling, and the boat is always filled up properly.”

Streamlined accounting and payment is another reason Jason appreciates Palm Beach Marine Fuel. “I’ve been happy with everyone at the company who I’ve worked with, especially Nicole Brown, who works in accounting,” he says. “I get a slip in the mailbox for the totals; Nicole calls me to verify the totals and always asks if it’s OK to charge the card I have on file. And if someone else who was on a trip with me wants to pay for the fuel, they can just call Nicole and she takes care of it. The convenience is awesome, and that’s the main reason I use [the company], but you also save a lot of money. I don’t understand why anyone would not use them.”

Jason not only trusts Palm Beach Marine Fuel to keep his 41-foot Bahama sportfisherman topped off and ready for action he has also brought the company aboard as a sponsor for the annual Place of Hope Fishing Tournament. Place of Hope is a faith-based, state-licensed organization focused on providing programs and services to end the cycles of abuse, neglect, homelessness, and human trafficking. They offer support to children, youth, and families in need, and are the largest and most diverse, residential children and family support organization in Palm Beach County and Florida’s Treasure Coast.

Palm Beach Marine Fuel’s founder Charles Bender was originally involved with the tournament, and the company will continue this tradition as a subsidiary of SSI Petroleum, Florida’s premier provider of fuels, lubricants, chemicals, and related services. The event was not held in 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, but in previous years had attracted as many as 60 boats and raised up to $150,000 for the charity. The event, Fish for Hope, will be held on June 4 and 5 this year at the Sailfish Marina, and Palm Beach Marine Fuel has pledged to donate .15 cents of every gallon sold during the tournament to the charity.

“I appreciate the service I receive from Palm Beach Marine Fuel,” Peter says. “The last time I called the company I needed 500 gallons of fuel, and they were here the same day.” This rapid response was not at all expected, he says, but it was greatly appreciated. “I like to stay local so having Palm Beach Marine Fuel easily accessible is very important to me.”

By using long delivery hoses, Palm Beach Marine Fuel can usually provide fills without the need to reposition the boat.

Peter says he appreciates the “white glove” service ethos and personal attention he receives from Palm Beach Marine Fuel. “My technician, Eddie, is awesome and always sketches out what he puts into each tank (I have four), and if I’m not there he will leave a note. He is always very careful and respectful, and he keeps everything spotless, so I never have to worry about spills or cleaning up afterward.

The office staff also makes the paperwork thing completely painless. One phone call and I’m done. Next thing you know there’s an email with the receipt. This team has it down pat and they make it very easy for their customers.”
